Breaking Benjamin Announce New Album

Breaking Benjamin have announced a new album via K-SHE ’95 titled Dark Before Dawn, due to drop on June 23rd, their first since Dear Agony back in 2009.  A teaser of the first single “Failure”  (scheduled for release March 23rd), was also released, with fans having ‘waited six years for those fourteen seconds.’

Originally on hiatus as frontman Ben Burnley battled health complications, Breaking Benjamin was torn apart from a legal dispute between Burnley against former bassist and guitarist Mark Klepaski and Aaron Fink; challenging their right to have released a greatest hits album and remix without his permission. After a long court battle, Burnley won the dispute and claimed the right to continue Breaking Benjamin.

The lineup now has drummer Shaun Foist, bassist Aaron Burch, Red’s former guitarist Jason Rauch and former Adelita’s Way guitarist Keith Wallen alongside Burnley. ‘Breaking Benjamin 2.0’ seemingly began recording its fifth album late 2014.

Intimate shows have already kicked off the year for Breaking Benjamin, more festivals and headlining shows confirmed to continue this April into summer. All tour dates and tickets can be found HERE.
