Denis Shaforostov, formerly of Make Me Famous, has been confirmed as the new lead vocalist of Asking Alexandria, debuting a brand new song “I Won’t Give In.” The confirmation comes four months after Danny Worsnop announced his departure from Asking Alexandria in January, with Shaforostov being rumored as his replacement almost immediately.
Most recently, guitarist Ben Bruce talked with Kerrang! Magazine on their new lead- “Everyone guessed it was Denis and I think they did so because they know Denis was the right choice to make.
“He’s an incredibly talented vocalist, from the multiple wide range of screams that Asking Alexandria obviously needs and will continue to have, and his singing and range is out of this world.”
With Make Me Famous being similar to Asking Alexandria in style and Shaforostov already being familiar with Asking Alexandria’s catalog having been a fan himself, the transition for both parties went smoothly. Listen to their brand new single below.
