Death Cab for Cutie have announced a few new pieces of news that will be sure to excite fans of the alt rock vets. Via a series of Instagram photos the band have announced they have re-entered the studio to record the follow up to 2011’s “Codes and Keys.”

To hold fans over until the new album is completed; the band have prepared a re-release of Transatlanticism on a 180-gram double vinyl set, due for release on October 29th. The 10th anniversary edition of Transatlanticism will include the album on vinyl, a digital download, and a complete demo collection of the album.
