Sno-Core Tour Canceled, The Pretty Reckless Pull Out Due To Illness (UPDATED)

UPDATE 1/28/13:  While we had previously written about the tour on the 22nd (see the original post below);  per a press release issued today, it appears the Sno-Core tour has been officially canceled with no current plans to reschedule at this time.

Originally slated to begin on 1/29 in Lincoln, NE the tour has now been axed completely as a result of headliners The Pretty Reckless pulling out of the tour due to illness. Diagnosed with acute laryngitis and walking pneumonia; lead vocalist Taylor Momsen has been placed on vocal rest,  thus resulting the band’s departure from the tour and the cancellation of all upcoming dates.

Original Post:

After a nearly two year hiatus; Wind Up Records and TKO’s Sno-Core tour has risen once again and is now back in action with headliners The Pretty Reckless, and featuring supporting acts Heaven’s Basement (select dates), The Letter Black and Crobot. Intended as a tour to celebrate music and winter sports (as well as to fill the concert void often found during the winter months), the Sno-Core tour was founded in 1996 and has given showcase to many talented bands including (but not limited to) Incubus, Everclear, Sublime, Blink-182 and Less Than Jake.

To make the tour unique for the fans, Sno-Core event organizers will be teaming up with ReverbNation to pick one lucky band from each market to perform on stage in addition to the artists already scheduled. Bands will be selected via ReverbNation’s reviewing dashboard and can submit their music for possible consideration here, via their online artist profile.
