Los Angeles quartet Dead Poet Society has just released the video for their new single “.SALT.”
The band’s debut album -!- (said as “The Exclamation Album.”) was released a year ago and has since accumulated over 30 million global streams, with over 10 million in the U.S. alone. The single “.CoDA.” was a Top 15 single on the radio, spending over 20 weeks on the chart.
“We wrote this song about getting f**ked over by certain people in our career,” the band explains. “People we thought we could trust, people who we never could have foreseen doing the things they did. Over the course of our career, we’ve met and worked with a lot of people — many of whom have been a blessing and have largely contributed to our success. But as a band, especially in the early years, there were sharks out there. This song is straight from the heart.”
