Enter Shikari Add Hometown Show, Album Recording Documented in YouTube Series

British Metalcore group Enter Shikari are getting ready to bring us some more great music. Their follow up to “A Flash Flood of Colour” is being recorded in Lincolnshire right now and word is that they are already halfway through the recording process. You can learn more about the recording process or just be entertained by the band members’ hilarious antics when you watch the #ShikariAlbum4 diaries on YouTube. The second episode “Countryside” was released yesterday.

In addition Enter Shikari have added a one-off Hometown Warm-Up show at Hatfield Forum, UK on June 26:

“Yes, friends… it occurred to us that the first show in half a year was going to be in front of something like 100,000 people… so a special show at good ol’ local HATFIELD FORUM to a far more intimate and managable 1,500 people was quickly thrust into the diary by way of a ‘warm-up’.

Tickets are on sale only HERE and in person from the venue box office since 12 MIDDAY this Thursday (22nd May). If there’s any tickets left after presale, they will go on general sale through usual ticket agents on the Friday 23rd.

Supports for the show are Nottingham’s BABY GODZILLA and, from the south coast of England, melodic pop-punkers ROAM.”

Other than Hatfield, the band will play at select festivals in Europe and the US, while the US-fans are definitely more fortunate since Enter Shikari are part of this year’s Vans Warped Tour. Details can be found HERE.

Are you stoked for new music and shows? “A Flash Flood of Colour” was definitely a favorite in 2012, so I have high expectations for its follow up.
