Nearly five months after the tragic and unexpected death of Linkin Park vocalist Chester Bennington, we here at AltWire are still finding ourselves at times struggling to accept the reality that one of the most influential rock artists of the last 20 years is no longer with us. With a voice that was at times angelic, and other times full of unbridled fury, the departure of Chester’s unique talents has left a void in rock music that may never be filled.
While it may be a very long time before fans learn the answer as to what comes next for Linkin Park, the band has put together a special live album of performances gathered from the band’s summer dates in Europe in tribute to their dear friend. Titled One More Light (Live) the album is due for release on 12/15/2017, and features some of Chester Bennington’s last ever performances before his untimely death.
