Nathan James: From Photographer to Rockstar

Nathan James

Nathan James is a name that you may not know, but you will soon enough.

Nathan James is a highly accomplished photographer that has shot the cover for MGK‘s Tickets To My Downfall and has become a highly sought-after photographer, doing shots of Lil Wayne, Avril Lavigne, Post Malone, and more. In 2020 Nathan decided to launch his music career and has been hard at work crafting his rockstar persona, developing his own visual identity.

While COVID-19’s influence has prompted several artists to put their projects on hold, Nathan has kept moving full speed ahead. He’s already broken into the millions in terms of streams on digital streaming platforms and has released ten singles, with more music yet to come.

Nathan James’ goal is to utilize everything he has seen in his life, whether good or bad, and express it through a variety of media – from photographs to music. He calls this blend of media “MORE ART”.

His most recent work is his new song “Jeepers Creepers” with Lil Lotus, which is now available for pre-save. Harking back to the days of nu-metal, “Jeepers Creepers” has lyrics about whether or not you’re good enough and battling with keeping your personal and love life under control. As a (then) teenager who grew up on nu-metal in the early 2000s, it thrills me to see that the style is once again popular. Nostalgia is currently reigning supreme, with festivals such as “When We Were Young” announced, and new music from bands like Limp Bizkit out for the first time in years. Songs like “Jeepers Creepers” will no doubt soon be a boon to nu-metal’s resurgence.

Nathan James is a unique artist because of his multifaceted approach to mixing his photography and music. He’s already gaining a large following, so don’t pass up the opportunity to get involved. Pre-save “Jeepers Creepers” today.
