Manchester Orchestra’s Andy Hull can’t say he believes his co-headliner is crazy because his co-headliner claims he’s not crazy because he takes the right pills.

Last week, Jimmy Eat World and Manchester Orchestra announced they would co-headline The Amplified Echoes Tour, which kicks off Tuesday, July 11, in Missoula at Big Sky Brewing Company Amphitheater. The tour continues on, making 29 stops across the United States until it ends at Skyline Stage at the Mann on Saturday, Aug. 26, in Philadelphia.

Jimmy Eat World, from Mesa, Ariz., was formed in 1993. They saw commercial success with their 2001 release Bleed American, with the single “The Middle” hitting No. 1 on the Billboard Alternative Airplay chart and peaking at No. 5 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, where it stayed for 33 weeks.

Manchester Orchestra, from Atlanta, Ga., was formed in 2004 Most recently, they released The Valley of Vision on March 10, accompanied by a short virtual-reality film, which Hull collaborated with Isaac Deitz, a filmmaker, and cinematographer from Syracuse, N.Y.

The two groups will be joined on every stop by Middle Kids, an alternative-indie rock band from Sydney, Australia.

Presale tickets are on-sale now through March 15 at www.citientertainment.com, with general tickets becoming available Thursday, March 16 at 10 a.m. local time.
