UK metal band Bullet For My Valentine have announced their upcoming North America dates for “The British Invasion Tour” in support of their newly released album, VENOM. The band will be accompanied by fellow UK band Asking Alexandria.
The band recently wrapped up a summer long run in the U.S. with Slipknot and Lamb of God and will begin a fall European tour before coming back to the states for their British Invasion Tour run.
Tickets go on sale Friday, September 25th and the tour kicks off February 2nd, 2016 at the House of Blues in San Diego and ends
Bullet For My Valentine’s fifth album, VENOM, was released on August 14th, 2015 via RCA Records and has gained overal positive reviews among critics. Venom debuted at #1 on the Billboard Hard Rock Albums chart, #8 on the Billboard Top 200 Chart, #1 Album in Australia, #2 in Germany, #3 in UK and #4 in Canada. This is the first album with new bassist, Jamie Mathias, formerly of the metal band Revoker.
Venom was produced by Carl Bown and Colin Richardson (Slipknot, Trivium).
On the subject of working with Carl and Colin, the band stated,
“This album, though, is not about going backwards. We’re excited to work with Colin again, but equally excited to be working with Carl Bown for the first time, who we consider the most exciting new British record producer out there right now, and the guy to help take this Bullet record to exciting new places.”
