Foster The People annonce son retour

After three years, Foster The People are back with some new music! The band has released a short teaser clip on their website that unfortunately didn’t give any information about an album or single release date:

The band also tweeted the link to the video, announcing their comeback for 2014:

The clip features the new song “Feels Like Coming of Age” which the band played live before at the Firefly Music Festival last summer with three other new songs called “Level Up”, “Surfing” and “Fire Escape”. It’s still unclear if any of the songs will also be on the album or even released as a single. You can watch the performance of “Feels like coming of age” below:

Foster The People’s last album “Torches”, containing their biggest hit single “Pumped Up Kicks”, was released in 2011 and received two Grammy nominations. Still, the second record of the band will be different as singer Mark Foster said in a recent interview with the Rolling Stone:

“It’ll be interesting. It’s not the record that people are gonna expect us to release second. It’s definitely an evolution for us, and it’s a more polarizing record for us, so I’m excited to see how it’s received, for better or worse.”

He doesn’t have to wait much longer, cause while the second album was delayed several times, Foster said in the same interview that its first single will hit radios in January.
