Kruel Summer is a rising alternative reggae-rock band from San Jose, California.

They are comprised of Clev Stiles (Former DJ and manager of The Holdup), Ben Dimmit, Shane Billings, and Chris Reed. Since 2019, the band has brought summer vibes with their unique style.

Their latest single, “Just Too Broken,” was released this past May. The lyrics describe the comfort zone that feelings of unworthiness bring when trying to be your best. Anyone with anxiety will relate.

Overall, Kruel Summer’s music is about being carefree and letting go of the stresses of life in a fun way. The band is on tour with some local shows in Southern California. Here at Altwire, we’re very excited about what the future has in store for Kruel Summer!
