Foo Fighters Surprise Fans With Moorpark,CA Pizza Place Performance

Foo Fighters played a secret show in a Moorpark, California pizza restaurant December 9th. Patrons did not know of the performance ahead of time and it served as practice for the band’s upcoming full length performance in Mexico City on Friday, December 13th.

The Mexico City show will be the band’s first full length performance since lead singer Dave Grohl announced the band’s break in September of 2012. According to Rolling Stone, the Foo Fighters have been rehearsing material for a new album since August, and they plan on recording early in the new year.

Although a very short hiatus, the band is back and ready. They rocked the 200-capacity Rock & Roll Pizza with 23 fan favorites. This included ‘All My Life’, ‘Monkey Wrench’, and ‘Learn to Fly’ to name a few.
