Alt-J Announce New Album and Tour Dates

Alt-J or ∆, an English indie band formed in 2007, have announced their second album This Is All Yours. The rock-quartet-turned-trio won the prestigious Barclaycard Mercury Prize back in 2012 for their debut album An Awesome Wave. Back then the band consisted of Gwil Sainsbury (Guitar/Bass), Joe Newman (Guitar/Lead vocals), Gus Unger-Hamilton (Keyboard/Vocals) and Thom Green (Drums) but in January of this year Gwil Sainsbury left the band for “purely personal reasons”.

The follow-up album is set to be released on September 22nd in the UK and is already available for pre-order there.  North America doesn’t currently have a pre-order status and is not slated to get the album until the following day, September 23rd.

In combination with the new album, the band also announced a tour with dates in both the UK and North America that is set to take place in the fall of this year.
