Machine Gun Kelly Announces 52-City Mainstream Sellout Tour

Machine Gun Kelly aka Colson Baker is back with a vengeance! The rapper and actor turned pop-punk rocker has just announced his Mainstream Sellout Tour, a 52-city tour that will span North America and Europe. The tour follows the release of Machine Gun Kelly’s upcoming album Mainstream Sellout, his second collaboration with Travis Barker in two years.

Originally known as a rapper, Machine Gun Kelly shed his established rap sound when he partnered up with Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker on Tickets To My Downfall. Hinted at by a slow shift towards rock towards the end of the last decade, with songs like “I Think I’m Okay” and “Bloody Valentine”, Machine Gun Kelly jumped all in on Tickets To My Downfall, a pop-punk album heavily inspired by the pop-punk Baker enjoyed listening to.

While genre changes are often very risky, for Baker the risk paid off as the album debuted at #1 and was his first album to be certified platinum. Now he’s ready to catch lightning in a bottle twice, with Mainstream Sellout, an album he describes as “darker” and “guitar-heavier’ than Tickets.

Kelly will be joined by special guests including Avril Lavigne, Travis Barker, blackbear, Trippie Redd, WILLOW, iann dior, PVRIS and 44phantom on select dates. Machine Gun Kelly will also hold a special hometown performance in his home city of Cleveland, OH at FirstEnergy Stadium.

With Avril Lavigne doing her own nostalgic return to a more pop-punk sound, and the When We Were Young festival happening later this year, this is an exciting time for kids nostalgic for the music they grew up listening to in the early 2000s. Music is cyclical, and it seems pop-punk and emo are ready to take over the airwaves yet again.

Tickets go on sale starting Friday, March 25th at 10AM Local Time at, so mark your calendars and get ready to rock out with Machine Gun Kelly this summer!
