1.)BUS RIDE – KAYTRANADA

Infamous SoundCloud producer KAYTRANADA not only released a fantastic song this week, but also announced the release of his debut album 99.9%. The album reportedly features Anderson Paak, Goldlink, Vic Mensa, and Little Dragon; along with BADBADNOTGOOD, another producing giant. If the rest of 99.9% is anything like BUS RIDE, it should be pretty good.

2.)What If I Go? – Mura Masa

What if I go is probably my favorite song of the week. On this track British producer Mura Masa teamed up with Irish singer bonzai, and there couldn’t have been better results. Bonzai’s angelic vocals and Masa’s fantastic production make a great dance/r&b song. If Masa keeps it up he could rival another very popular European producer.

3.)Death Of A Salesman – Kweku Collins

On Death Of A Salesman, Kweku Collins proves Chicago hip hop hasn’t died yet. With fantastic production from fellow Chicagoan oddCouple, and an interesting flow this is song is getting me pretty excited for Collin’s upcoming album Nat Love.

4.)NO HOOK – Lil Yachty & Quavo

Fresh off the release of Lil Boat, Lil Yachty releases a song with Migos’ member Quavo. The song is what you would expect from Yachty, with autotuned vocals and spacey production. Obviously the song isn’t a lyrical masterpiece, but each rapper spits a memorable flow.

5.)Cadela/Death Valley – Xeem

Relatively unknown producer Xeem released a new song entitled “Cadela/Death Valley”. Cadela/Death Valley has an interesting sample, and a great trap drums. The experimental hip hop producer is expected to release his debut album Among The Willows sometime this summer.
