Pierce The Veil: First UK Dates in 6 Years!

Pierce The Veil

After a long hiatus, Pierce The Veil have announced their return to the UK with an extensive tour in 2022, their first UK tour in six years.

The Christmastime dates will begin in Cardiff, UK, on 12/1 and continue throughout the UK for eight dates, finishing up in Leeds.

These tour dates will support the band’s yet-to-be-released fifth album that they have been working on sporadically since 2018.

“I can’t believe it’s been six long years since we’ve played a show in the UK,” singer/guitarist Vic Fuentes says. “Needless to say, we are dying to come back and see our fans again. We miss all of you dearly, and we’re excited to return with some very talented friends to put on a special show just for you. We’ll be debuting some new material off of our upcoming album and, of course, playing some old songs that we can all sing together at the top of our lungs. See you at the shows!”

The band had previously been on hiatus due to the departure of Mike Fuentes. At the time of his exit, Pierce The Veil announced that Fuentes would be stepping down from the band to “concentrate on his personal life,” with the band going on hiatus shortly after. The departure came after multiple allegations against Mike Fuentes surfaced involving sexual misconduct with minors.

In 2020, when Mike was spotted practicing with the band at home, there was a controversy, but Pierce The Veil confirmed that Mike departed the group in 2017 and would not be returning for the new album. As of this time, his replacement has not been named.
